What customers say?

“ I went here every week for the six months I was here. Their bibimbap and hot pots are really delicious and great value for money. I think everything is vegan as long as you select without the egg. In any case, everything is clearly marked which isn’t always the case in Hualien. I really appreciate this place! ”

“ This restaurant is definitely one of the best for vegetarians, it has main courses, desserts, and free black tea! We ordered the hotpot and I was really full. :) ”

- ervina lay -

“ We had an amazing hot pot for two. Really recommend this place! We didn't know stuff would come included with the hot pot so we ordered some extra, so we got very full ! ”

- Jens Jörgensen Moberg -

“ I loves this place and would definitely come again! You can choose between hot pot and bibimcup. Both is tasty and a big portion. Everything is vegan and can be ordered vegan. The prices are really fair. Sometimes you don't get a seat because this place is really popular. ”

- Mara Rg -

“ Wow! This place is amazing. Nobody spoke any English and we can't speak Chinese but through hand gestures and photos we managed to choose some exceptional food. The bibimbap was amazing. So tasty with delicious fresh crunchy colourful veg. The hotpot had such a huge variety of different things in it. Tonnes of mushrooms, a few interesting and yummy soy items and big chunks of veg. They have delicious free ice tea which we couldn't get enough of too and there some really tasty condiments at the front to compliment the meals. The place is fairly small and we were lucky to get the last table. We really loved our meal hear and it goes down as one of the best of our trip in Taiwan. Not everything is vegan so look out for the symbols 全素 for items without egg and dairy. Really recommend this lovely place. Friendly owners, lovely interior and great price! ”

- Amy Hiller -

“ Yum yum yum!!!! Would definitely come back!!! Hot pot when not eating meat can be REALLY challenging and difficult to find options and typically the broth is prepared with animal bones. But this place really brought the tradition to life in an inclusive and TASTY way. The kimchi broth was sensational and the sauces added such a depth of flavour. They also serve bibimbap dishes too!! A real crowd pleaser ”

- Karina O'Flynn -

“ no English spoken but really lovely staff who used Google translate to explain the various dishes to us. one of the best bibimbaps we've had ”

- Sarah Pitt -

“ The best healthy vegetarian restaurant in Hualien. There are others, but this one stands out for healthy ingredients, no MSG, no or undetectable oil, freshness, and great service from the owner (chef) and his wife and their daughter (server). Popular with Buddhist monks and always busy. Arrive early to guarantee a seat. For rigid vegan people, some dishes have eggs but can be requested without. ”
